April 19, 2013

The Minnesota International Center (MIC) is offering a luncheon forum with H.E. Gary Doer, Ambassador of Canada to the United States of America who will speak about the importance of the relationship between the U.S., Minnesota and Canada.

The Canada-U.S. relationship is multifaceted and strong. It is the largest trading relationship between any two countries in the world, worth $2 billion a day. Canada is the largest export market for Minnesota and all the states of the Upper Midwest. On the environmental front, the U.S. and Canada also share stewardship of 20 percent of the world’s fresh water supply from the Great Lakes.
